Nolan (he/him), joined our team as the Graphic Design and Marketing Assistant for the 2025 Fringe Festival, and we are so happy to have him!
Born and raised in Vancouver, Nolan is a passionate artist and designer with a lifelong love of creativity. He grew up immersed in drawing, which led him to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from UBC and an Interaction Design diploma from Capilano University.
With a background spanning painting, illustration, music, pottery, and design, Nolan is inspired by the ways art can connect people and build community, as well as its power as a form of self-expression and communication. Drawn to the Fringe for its welcoming spirit, authenticity, and artistry, he’s excited to bring his illustration and design skills to the festival and to all the wonderful people involved.
On joining the festival team, Nolan said:
“I’ve always been absorbed by art and the need to authentically express which is why Fringe feels like such a natural fit. I am honoured and excited to contribute to this incredible festival and to continue to connect with all the amazing people who make it what it is.”
Rachael Brewin-Caddy, Marketing Manager shared:
“I was so thrilled to have Nolan join the Vancouver Fringe as our Graphic Design Assistant! We knew he would be a great fit when he applied for the role, and it has been such a joy working with him this festival. Nolan’s creativity, eye for detail, and fresh ideas have already made a big impact, and I love seeing his designs bring our festival to life. We feel so lucky to have him on board!”
