Tucked into the Southeastern corner of Granville Island - between Performance Works and the Granville Island Hotel - Ron Basford park was named in honour of the liberal MP often credited as "Mr. Granville Island," for championing the island's transformation from industrial relic to lively public space. The natural amphitheater overlooks the water.
