Artist Services & Community Engagement Coordinator

Festival Volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Vancouver Fringe Festival. Each year, over 300 people from all walks of life take on a variety of volunteer roles from helping set up venues to answering artists’ and audience members’ questions, serving drinks at the Fringe Bar, selling tickets, taking photographs, ushering and more… 

We have a very small number of permanent staff, so the Fringe couldn’t exist without our volunteers. If you are interested in offering your assistance during our Festival (7 – 17 Sep), send us an application and be a part of this year’s vibrant volunteer community.

Dozens of travelling artists descend on Vancouver each year to entertain and delight us as part of our annual Fringe Festival (returning Sep 7 – 17, 2023). We are always on the lookout for comfortable and welcoming places for them to stay while they perform – and we need your help! If you have some extra space within your home and are interested in showing our latest troupe of artists some true Vancouverite hospitality, we want to hear from you.
