After a sold out run in 2024, Last One Standing returns to Vancouver Fringe. Described as 'utterly unique' by the Orlando Sentinel, Last One Standing is a 20 minute site-specific theatrical experience for one person at a time. You enter a room. There is a mobile phone, and a list of names. Who will you call? A phone call for one person to the last remaining survivors of real-life disasters and triumphs. A production by local company Hummingbird Interactive, whose new show The Song Collector is also present at the Fringe.
Last One Standing was nominated 'most creative' at the German Play24 festival and featured at the International Conference on Interactive Storytelling in Colombia in 2024. Developed with the participation of Creative BC and the British Columbia Arts Council.
