Join Arnie the Carnie (Brian Anderson) and a rotating cast of amazing variety artists and some of the city’s most hilarious improv comedy performers for 60 minutes of wonder, joy, magic and hilarity. Every show is a whole new adventure.
Brian Anderson (Arnie) has been performing improv comedy professionally for over 25 years with Vancouver Theatresports, The No Name Players, The Comedy Department, and The Improv Centre (amongst others). His fascination with magic and variety acts of all kinds led to his podcast – “793.8 – The Books of Magic” (2020-21) where he interviewed artists from around the world on how they learned the amazing things they do.
Previous Fringe Creations include “Arnie the Carnie’s House of Fun” (2011) and “Arnie the Carnie’s House of Mystery” (2013)
Currently, Brian serves as the Director of Performance and Fun Times at Science World where he helps bring wonder to people of all ages across BC.
Every show is different. Some purely voluntary audience participation may be offered – you are always welcome to decline.
