Give Thanks–and Win a Fringe Hoodie!

Support the Fringe during these uncertain times by donating today! Image credit: Kitty Cheung.
This Thanksgiving, we’re asking you to give back and help us spread the word about the joy of Fringe. In spite of arts funding cuts, a global pandemic, and a restriction on audience sizes, the Vancouver Fringe has found a way to bring a safe return to live theatre. We are so profoundly grateful to our community and to our artists for joining us on this journey. But there are still too many people who don’t know about the incredible work being done at the Fringe. So spread the word and help us Close the funding Gap!
This Thanksgiving, we’re asking you to tell a friend why you’re thankful for the Fringe. Use the hashtag #ThanksVanFringe and #donatetoday to spread the joy and share the love! We’ll be keeping an eye on the hashtags and the best story will win a Fringe hoodie!*

Shifting the Festival with the Phillips Fringe Bar
Jimmy and Bar Manager Ian Wardle are busy preparing for the Phillips Fringe Bar, available throughout the staggered Festival season! Photo by Al Ricard.
We’re excited to welcome back Phillips Brewing & Malting Co., who will be partnering with the Fringe to bring you the hottest (well, coldest) drinks at the Phillips Fringe Bar for another year! Their drinks, which include the award-winning Glitter Bomb and old favourites like the Implosion Pilsner and Blue Buck, will be available at Performance Works throughout the staggered Festival season. And if you’re also missing Georgian Bay Spirit Co. At the Fringe, you’re in luck—they’re back with their gin smashes and smashed sodas!
Please note that as part of BC’s newest public health plan, bar sales stop at 10pm, so keep that in mind as you are enjoying your favorite beverage during the shows at the mini-Fringes!
