The Vancouver Fringe Festival is an annual celebration of Theatre for Everyone! In 2019, we featured more than 700 performances by over 90 artists over 11 days from September 5-15. In 2020, the Festival will be held September 10-20. The Festival employs an “everyone welcome” selection technique—the Mainstage shows are literally drawn out of a hat, giving all artists a chance to participate. The Vancouver Fringe Festival also features unique site-specific theatre where artists stage their work in the nooks and crannies of Granville Island. A lot happens during the Festival, so let us break it down for you.

The Festival

In 2020, the Festival runs from September 10-20. Tickets will be on sale in August! A full list of shows will be available on our website, and in our Program Guide.
