Set in the dystopian future of 2028, Maarika, an actor coming back to her craft after a 7-year hiatus, is preparing for a big audition: the lead in a brand new musical! Only there’s a catch: it’s for the role of Harvey Weinstein.

In a dialogue with her shadow, a puppet named Peaches, Maarika spends the last half-hour before her audition trying to put herself in the shoes of her attacker, as her acting coach suggested. In doing so, she finds out just how much the victim and aggressor have in common within the rape culture narrative.

Based on her real life experience coming forward and inspired by her podcast of the same name, this piece of fictional theatre examines what it really means to be on the right side of history.
