The 2026 Vancouver Fringe Festival is less than three months away, and our team is ramping up to welcome audiences back to Granville Island. Kelly Leung joins us this summer as our Volunteer Coordinator.
Hello! My name is Kelly, I’m a fifth year Sociology major and English minor co-op student from UBC. I grew up on Vancouver Island for a portion of my childhood, though have lived in Richmond most of my life.
This summer, I am so excited to be part of a festival that celebrates the vibrancy of independent performance. The Fringe Movement holds such a rich history within the arts and culture space and a major component of that is the passionate Fringe volunteer community. Thank you again to all returning and new volunteers this year! I look forward to getting to meet you all. I’m ready and excited to get my first Fringe on!
During the summer, you can find me trying out new hiking trails (my favourite route is Tunnel Bluffs) or bouldering with friends.
