As we get closer to this year’s Festival, we want to highlight and give a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful 2026 Volunteer Team Leads, who have dedicated their time and energy to ensuring the Vancouver Fringe runs as smoothly as possible.

Viv (She/her) – Volunteer Coordinator
I’m excited to be back at the Fringe for my third year and to rejoin all of our lovely superstar volunteers! I will always find my way back to the Fringe, as a home for uncurated, accessible performing arts in Vancouver. I already have my tickets booked and am counting down to another year of Fringe! A fun (unpopular?) fact about me is that I sleep without pillows!
Kelly (She/her) – Volunteer Coordinator
This is my first year working with the Fringe and these past few months of preparation have been such a hoot already. I’m very ready to get my Fringe on! Fun fact: I’m a big fan of karaoke; the longest karaoke session I ever had with a group of friends was for 4 hours.
Piper (She/her) – Volunteer Assistant
I’m looking forward to returning for my third year to spend time with the Fringe community and all our amazing volunteers! A fun fact about me is that I was born in Taiwan, and on Halloween! 👻
Gabrielle (She/her) – Volunteer Team Lead
No two years, shows, or even days of the Fringe are ever the same, and every time I’m there, I’m reminded of the beauty of offering anyone and everyone a space to create. Fun fact: if crab walking was an Olympic event, I think I would have a decent chance of winning.
Tiffany (She/her) – Volunteer Team Lead
I’m super looking forward to being reunited with our beautiful fringe community <3 Fun Fact: Yerba Madre and Matchas are my lifelines.
Ankita (She/her) – Volunteer Team Lead
I joined Fringe in 2023 while pursuing my Masters and somehow never really left. I love the atmosphere, and enthusiasm of everyone, and especially catching up with fellow team leads. It has now become one of those yearly traditions I genuinely look forward to. Fun fact – I’ve recently become a plant parent – currently nurturing mint, chillies, strawberries! Excited to adopt more!
You will see our amazing volunteer team in action throughout the Festival, supporting a group of more than 400 volunteers! We can’t wait to see you in September!
