The Madeline Minx Cabaret: Still Not Domesticated
Pushy Productions
Madeline Minx sings, dances, and hot flashes her way through a cabaret comedy about 90s pop star ambitions. Raised on MTV and big feelings, she looks back on a career filled with strange detours, brushes with celebrities, near misses, and just enough success to keep the dream alive.
There's just one problem: her blunt, larger-than-life mother remains unconvinced.
Blending comedy, storytelling, original songs, iconic pop covers, audience interaction, and live keyboard accompaniment, this fast-paced solo show is both a celebration of show business dreams and a fraught love letter between mother and daughter.
As Madeline chases the validation she never quite received, she begins to ask a deeper question: Why did her mother abandon her own dream of becoming a singer? Through comedy, music, and personal storytelling, The Madeline Minx Cabaret: Still Not Domesticated explores ambition, reinvention, family, and the complicated ways parents shape the stories we tell about ourselves.
