The Last Cowboy (Hat Salesman)
An Te Chu
Taking over the family business was supposed to bring An-Te one step closer to his ultimate dream of being a real cowboy. But the hat business is slow, the bills are piling up and he’s no closer to finding his childhood sweetheart Clementine-Rose.
When the store is hit with a rezoning and development application, An-Te is forced to finally face the facts. Has the world left him behind? Did he miss his chance to make something of himself? Is a cowboy just a man who feels lonely and forgotten?
A one-man character comedy exploring masculine identity and love, The Last Cowboy Hat Salesman is delightfully playful and absurd with a thoughtful punch.
