Have you rated your favourite shows for the Public Market Pick of the Fringe Yet?
Every time you see a show at the Fringe you’ll get a ballot that looks like this.

The Public Market Pick of the Fringe is picked by you when you vote using these ballots!
Write your name, membership number, and most importantly, the name of the show you’re reviewing on the card and circle a number to cast your vote!
Drop these off at any venue, the Fringe Box Office, or at the St. Ambroise Fringe Bar at Agro Cafe. Once a show gets 100 votes, they’re in the running for the Public Market Pick of the Fringe. The four shows with the highest rating get will be held over at the Waterfront Theatre on September 24-27!
Our volunteers have been busy tabulating your Public Market Pick of the Fringe ballots and we can’t wait to see who will win! The Public Market Pick of the Fringe winners will be announced at the Fringe Awards Night on September 20 and shortly thereafter on our website. You’ll be able to purchase tickets to the Pick at midnight on the September 20!
Closing Night Partay!
The 2009 Vancouver Fringe Festival closes on the evening of Sunday, September 20. Our Closing Night Celebration is not only the end of our Festival, it is also the end of five months of touring for many Fringe artists. These folks are in the mood for a party and you’re invited to join in! As the final shows of the Festival end, we’ll kick off the evening with a salute to those artists at our Fringe Awards Night and then shift to all out revelry at the St. Ambroise Fringe Bar at the Agro CafĂ©.
On the musical menu at the Fringe Bar are Ana Bon-Bon & Rose and extraordinary fiddler, Amelia Rose. DJ Lizard of Oz’s Dance Party will get us all close together and sweaty as we send off the 2009 Fringe Festival flight into the wide blue yonder!

Fringe Flashback
Pesce dell’arte brought Genesis: A Deconstruction to the Vancouver Fringe in 1995. A multi-media production, Genesis promised promiscuous preachers, sadomasochism, and market value escapism. It must have been interesting!
