Matching Donors
During the Fringe Festival, we run our Sweet on the Fringe individual donor campaign, in which we engage audiences at select performances to solicit funds for the Fringe charity. At the end of each fundraiser performance, all audience members receive a chocolate ‘sweet’ from our in-kind sponsor Camino.
This relatively new campaign has met with increasing success, almost quadrupling returns over the past three years. We now hope to involve corporate partners to stimulate increased returns through a matching program. The presence of a corporate partner willing to match donations will offer audiences further incentive to donate, as each dollar they give will have the impact of two dollars.
Become a Matching Donor
Becoming one of our eleven Sweet on the Fringe Festival Partners would entail pledging to match all donations collected over the course of a day at four Sweet on the Fringe campaign venues, up to a maximum of $1,000 each day. You could choose to match donations for one or for several days of the Festival.
Donor Recognition Opportunities
We prominently feature matching donors as part of our “pitch” – indeed, this information is key to substantially increasing audience donations. Representatives from your company would be most welcome to attend so that we could thank you personally for your support. And our Matching Donors are recognized in our electronic marketing and social media avenues.
