So you don’t want to be ordinary… you want your own venue and your own schedule. We encourage you to do it yourself. Often site-specific, past BYOV's have included an apartment bathroom, a tree on Granville Island, an Aquabus boat, and a garage. Bars, nightclubs, community halls and churches have also been used as BYOV's. What works for you?

To qualify

• Find your own venue. Rent or borrow the space for the required dates during the Festival
• Be responsible for all technical and seating requirements
• Arrange your own schedule (must be within the 11 days of the Festival-Sept 4-14)
• You DO need the approval for your venue from the Vancouver International Fringe Festival before proceeding. Contact us before making an application. 604-257-0350

• 100% of the box office to the performing company
