A Vancouver Fringe Success Story

We here at the Vancouver Fringe know that past VanFringe artists move on to great success. But we usually find out about such things from reviews we read about in publications. Thus it’s always nice to get personal messages from VanFringe alum, detailing their success and the part we played in their journey.

Below is one such message:

Hello David

I am delighted to report that “Gutenberg! The Musical!” has been selected to open the 2010/11 season at Presentation House in North Vancouver. The entire cast and creative team are returning and are thrilled at the chance to present the show as a full length evening’s entertainment.

None of this would have been possible without the wonderful opportunity and tremendous support we received from all of you at the Vancouver Fringe during our run at the 2008 festival. Thank you for all that you do to foster young companies such as ours. Without a venue like the Fringe it is incredibly hard for new artists to find a place to develop. Thank you again for all that you do.

Looking forward to this year’s festival.

Brian Anderson
Wide Eyed Productions.
