This year is the 25th anniversary of the Vancouver Fringe Festival and we’ve begun celebrating bigger and better than ever!

The 25th Anniversary Party we threw at Performance Works on July 16th was a smashing success! It was a great opportunity for present and former Fringers including artists, donors, staff, volunteers and board members to meet and share their stories and their love of the Vancouver Fringe.

This first event of the year featured the illustrious raconteur Jay Brazeau as our indomitable emcee. 25 of our most famous and infamous Alumni shared their best, non-incriminating (mostly) stories of Fringe escapades over the years - from waking up post-Festival wearing only a nametag to getting arrested and missing the first act of your own show! The stories of these and other Fringers launch our Fringe Storyboard. Upload yours!

The night came to an exciting pyrotechnic end with the virtuosic fire spinning of our own Board member John Inthavixay - the blazing dawn of our next quarter century!
